Grant Accountability
Grant Accountability
All organizations receiving program grants from
USTA Colorado or the Colorado Youth Tennis Foundation are required to submit a
grant accountability form upon completion of the program –
no later than October 1.
Grant recipients are asked to keep an itemized record of expenditures. The
report must explain how the grant money was used. Accountability reports must
include receipts, when possible, all publicity (such as newspaper articles) and
photos illustrating how the grant helped the community. Rosters listing the
names, phone numbers and addresses of all participants in the program must also
be included with the grant accountability form so we can follow-up on the
effectiveness of the program.
USTA Colorado and the CYTF are also interested in hearing about any individual or program
success stories from grant recipients that could be shared with the tennis
community and other organizations.
Lastly, organizations are asked to provide the short-term financial strategy to
keep the program going. It is important that other sources of funding be sought
to continue the programs begun in the community. This may include other grant
funders, local businesses and/or charging small fees once the program is
established. Send all of this information no later than
October 1.
Programs that do not submit a complete grant accountability report will not be
eligible for future funding.
